It allows physicians to adjust the size of the breast implant for up to six months after breast augmentation surgery. In a simple office procedure, surgeons can add or remove saline to adjust the final size of the breast implant.
The SPECTRUM® Implant is a technologically innovative design that allows surgeons to make adjustments post operatively. A small, removable fill tube is left temporarily attached to the breast implant after surgery. The tube is accessible to the physician by injection through the skin. In a simple office procedure, breast implant size can be adjusted until the desired effect is achieved. At this point, the fill tube is removed (again, in a routine office visit) and a self-sealing valve immediately closes and seals the breast implant.

Resterilizable up to 10 times, MENTOR® Gel Sizers are precision-made to be compatible with our entire MemoryGel® Implant family of products.
Saline Volume Sizers come in a sterile, single-use only package for intraoperative use. Sizers come in all dimensions, matching our saline breast implant product family. The smooth-surface Sizer shell is made with successive cross-linked layers of silicone elastomer, each cross-linking layer uniting with the last to provide the device with elasticity and integrity. The Sizer is supplied with an integral fill tube with a Luer adapter, and a two-way check valve to facilitate filling. The two-way check valve is supplied sterile separately.
