MemoryGel® Breast Implants in Canada
for Breast Augmentation

All Cohesive, All the Time.

Contrary to misconception, modern breast implant gel material is a cohesive polymer – not a liquid or semi-liquid. Although it's soft and has a fluid feel to it, Mentor's gel material is actually a single unit that holds together.

Since 1985 every Mentor gel implant has featured our advanced Memory Gel™. It's our proprietary cohesive gel that's formulated to deliver the aesthetic results and feel your patients are looking for. When patients inquire about the "new" cohesive gel implants they have been hearing about, you can assure them that all our gel implants are cohesive. And you can continue to reccommend the reliable Mentor Gel implants you've counted on for all these years.

About Mentor Memory Gel™

Mentor's advanced Memory Gel™ is a proprietary cohesive silicone gel formulation used to fill all of Mentor's MemoryGel® silicone gel-filled breast implants around the world. By varying the components of the gel, Mentor is able to produce a wide selection of products ranging from a very soft to a very firm consistency.

At Mentor, we offer three gel cohesion levels that are available in 10 different styles. This variety of gel cohesiveness, combined with diversity of shape, size and texture, allows you a much wider range to identify the best products for your patients. Put simply, all of the Mentor's gel implants use gel that is cohesive, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Mentor is deeply committed to science and research, and to fully educationg physicians and patietns about the various materials that comprise our gel breast implants.

All of Mentor’s gel implants use gel that is cohesive, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Cohesive I

The standard cohesive level gel used in Mentor’s implants. This is Mentor’s softest gel and has been preferred for years in Round Moderate, Moderate Plus, High Profile and Round Becker expander/implants.

Cohesive II

A slightly firmer gel, for surgeons wanting a firmer feeling implant. This gel is used in Round Moderate Profile implants, and Contour Profile® Becker expander/implants.

Cohesive III

Mentor’s most cohesive gel, providing shape retention with a pleasing level of firmness for optimal aesthetic results. This gel is used in Mentor’s Contour Profile® gel implant family.
