Adjustable Breast Implants
Spectrum® Postoperatively Adjustable Breast Implants
The Spectrum saline-filled breast implant style is exclusive to Mentor. It allows the physician to adjust the size of the breast implant for up to six months after your breast surgery. In a simple office procedure, your surgeon can add or remove saline to adjust the final size of the breast implant.
The Spectrum is a technologically innovative design that allows the surgeon to continue making adjustments to the breast after your breast reconstruction operation. A small, removable fill tube is left temporarily attached to the breast implant after surgery. The tube is accessible to the physician by injection through the skin. In a simple office procedure, breast implant size can be varied until you have achieved the result you desire. At this point, the fill tube is removed (again, in a routine office visit) and a self-sealing valve immediately closes and seals the breast implant.

Becker Adjustable Breast Implants / Expanders
The Becker is the only gel product that gives you the option of a single or two-stage breast reconstruction. These unique products have an inner lumen containing saline that allows for tissue expansion and an outer lumen of gel, that is designed to provide a softer feeling implant. The remote injection dome makes volume adjustments simple and can easily be removed when expansion is complete.
Because of their patented dual-shell design, Becker Implants provide the feel of gel, with the volume flexibility of a saline implant. The Becker Implant is available in two surface styles: smooth and Siltex® textured.
